A Letter For You, Margaux

Margaux,

Another chapter has added to your life, which I think is one of the happiest, yet the most rigorous: giving birth and raising a child.

I want to say congratulations, that you have given birth to your first born daughter. I could not imagine the inexplicable happiness you feel right now, being a first time mother.

When I heard the news I, too, am happy. And when you told me I would be one of the ninongs of your daughter, I became excited having a god-daughter once more after two years.

I hope you would not mind, Margaux:

Please, at her young age, teach her how to read and write, because both skills are very essential for she carries them for the rest of her life, if you teach her well. More so,  they can widen her appreciation to the world around her, make her emphatic towards other people, and make her a critical thinker, a rarity in this day and age.

Nurture her innate curiosity. Inculcate her with the lessons of the past and present time, including the values which we hold us dear. Teach her the basics in life, other than the aforesaid, so that in later years, she will not struggle through the rigors of life.

I wish I had a child, too; however, methinks I still am not ready for parenting; for I need a lot of time to plan, to act, to learn on what he or she would become. To learn. That is the thing I need the most.

Oh, Margaux, I apologize for not visiting you these past few days. My schedule in school has been so hectic, that I cannot even go to the barber and get a haircut!

Anyways, we will see each other on the Christmas Party. See you!

                                                                                                            Regards,

                                                                                                    Bay

PS: In as much as I would want to create a sequel to Interstate Love Song, I regretfully decline, not because I do not want to; because I fear that it might not suit your taste; I suck at making sequels he he he.
